New York Mystery: Incredible Shrinking Trees

Four Ginkgo trees in Chelsea, New York City, were chopped down because they blocked ads. Less than a week after the billboard went up, the tops of all four trees were mysteriously lopped off. Although there is no dispute about what happened, exactly who was responsible remained a mystery.

It is good that the building reps are being held accountable for butchering the trees. The $4000 fine should be raised to at minimum the amount they were paid to host the sign.
